Tequesta District Scouters Calendar

Roundtable
This is the best time to receive information, learn a new Scout skill, bring forms or checks, recognize people, review the Youth Protection video or exchange "war stories." We meet the first Monday of every month at 7:30 PM

District Committee
Find out what's going on in Tequesta. If you have a District issue that must be discussed during our monthly business meeting.

We meet the second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM.

Commissioner's Meeting
This meeting is the right place to bring up Unit issues. From advancement to rechartering, our commissioners will make sure that your unit's Ideal Year of Scouting goes as planned. We can schedule Unit visits, provide support, materials and other tools to make sure your unit is successful. We meet the second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM during a break out session of the District Committee.

Tequesta District Important Dates 2012

January 2 - Junior Orange Bowl Parade
In downtown Coral Gables. The theme is: Soaring to New Heights!
The parade kicks off at 3 p.m. at the intersection of Alhambra Circle and
Ponce de Leon Boulevard and ends at the Coral Gables First United Methodist Church.
Participants will need to have a signed permission form.

February 25 - Ten Commandments Hike
Led by Alex Milton P76

March 9-11, 2012 - Spring Camporee
Led by Peter and Pierce Bithman Crew 870

April 29 - Tequesta Pinewood Derby
Led by Mary Trujillo. P83
Location: TBD

May 11 - Tequesta District Awards Banquet
Location: possibly 94th Aero, but TBD
